It’s December!! Anyone else enjoying the chilly weather? Anyone not enjoying it?
Personally, I love that time of year when I can finally, finally, dig my sweaters out from underneath my shorts. (Just kidding, I don’t actually put my pants in the same drawer as my shirts. I’m not a monster.) I feel like I can finally come out into the sunlight after six months of hibernation during the scorching heat.
So, enjoy these posts written by a spirit cheered by the chilly weather!

Writing World Stuff
- Reedsy Discovery is offering paid reviews this month! Reedsy Discovery, a platform where readers can review indie books, is offering $10 per review this month. Personally, I’ve had a blast discovering new books and writing reviews on the platform! If you love reading and writing reviews, now’s a great time to join. Use my affiliate link to get $25 for your first review (on top of the $10, I think!).
- AutoCrit is hosting their First Chapter Workshop next week. It costs $80, but it’s a live exercise that claims to help you really nail down the start of your story—which is arguably the most important part.
