I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the number one thing I get asked as a writer is how I come up with my ideas.
Idea generation isn’t the same for everyone—that’s why I love how this post gives several different options for coming up with and exploring new ideas. These methods are also practical, such as checking up on the news or looking through old newspaper articles. Or there’s my favourite: asking “what if?”
Sometimes, coming up with ideas is hard. The truth is that ideas are all around you, just waiting to be discovered! I hope you’ll check out this helpful post—I already have it bookmarked!
Happy writing!

“The truth is that ideas are all around you, just waiting to be discovered!” I tell myself this everyday. I’ve found that being disciplined in sitting down and writing each day and constantly being open to the “What If” game helps immensely in coming up with new ideas.

Absolutely! “What if” is definitely my favourite “idea generator.” 🙂 Thanks for reading!
