365(ish) Days of Writing: A Year of the Ups and Downs of Creativity

In between the uncertainties and fears is a place where the only thing happening is right in front of you. The only action you can take is the next one. The only moment that matters is the one you’re currently in.

365(ish) Days of Writing: A Place Called “Now”

I’ve got a new series going, and it’s now in full swing.

This blog is full of writing tips, resources, and lessons I’ve learned as a freelance writer and self-published author. But over the past month, which has been absolutely insane for me, I realised that I wanted a way to share the more personal parts of my writing journey, the times when I’m not quite sure what’s happening but I’m exploring, learning, and putting down my thoughts anyway.

Introducing: 365(ish) Days of Writing.

These are my raw, unfiltered, spur-of-the-moment thoughts about writing day by day. I don’t plan these posts in advance. I don’t even run them through a grammar checker like I do with my blog posts. I’m simply opening up a window into my life so you can see what I’m learning about writing and life as I’m learning it—and yes, I truly am learning every single day.

I hope you’ll join me on my year-long journey of discovery, hope, and many, many words.

See you there!
—E.J.

Unfortunately, good stories don’t sell by default. As an indie author, I have to do all my marketing myself! My first marketing goal will take care of advertising costs for my upcoming middle-grade book. I need your help to make it happen! Thank you in advance, and God bless you! ♥️ E.J.
