It’s Thursday, and usually that means I bring you a great post from another blog or website. Don’t worry—reblogs aren’t going away, but today, I want to introduce you to something special.
My reblog posts are a great way for both me and you to discover new writing blogs. But there are some resources that I use all the time, and I’ve shared them with you before: Story Grid, Savannah Gilbo, The Write Practice, etc. As I was building the Story Canvas site, I wanted a way to have all of my favourite resources in one place so, instead of posting about them all the time, I can just refer you to a single place where they’re all housed.
Enter the Resources tab! It’s still under construction, but the goal is to have at least four categories of resources: writing, story creation, editing, and publishing. If you ever need more info on one of these topics, I’ve listed several sites you can refer to.

While I sincerely hope that my blog is helpful and informative, I know that I don’t know everything. Many people are way smarter than me when it comes to storytelling and they’ve been teaching it for decades. I’m still learning from them, and I hope you will, too!
I’ll do my best to refer to the Resources tab often in my posts, but just know that it’s always there whenever you need it, and I’ll add to it as I find more staple writing resources. Let’s grow together!
Happy writing!

If you enjoyed this post, I hope you’ll consider buying one of my books, donating to the blog, reading my stories on Vocal, and/or taking a look at my RedBubble shop so I can continue to produce 100% free content!

Unfortunately, good stories don’t sell by default. As an indie author, I have to do all my marketing myself! My first marketing goal will take care of advertising costs for my upcoming middle-grade book. I need your help to make it happen! Thank you in advance, and God bless you! ♥️ E.J.
