The “Bread” and “Meat” of Writing — A Writer’s Path

Well, if you haven’t figured out by now that I love A Writer’s Path, let me tell you that I love this blog (and you should be following them)! They have a different author write every post, and not only is it great to get so many different perspectives, but they also cover every single writing topic under the scene.

The one I’m reblogging today is a doozy. It absolutely hit me with a ton of bricks. As usual, it’s short – I try to be mindful of y’all’s time – but wow, is it packed. You’ll see what I’m talking about when you read it.

All I have to say is: if you’re a fiction writer, you’ve gotta read this post. It’s all about how to condense your book into the most important parts, cutting out the “bread” and getting to the “meat.” Go read it! Now! I guarantee you it’ll make you think.
